Competition Terms

These Competition Terms apply to participation in Eggy League competitive match play on the PSG1 console. By tapping "I Agree", you confirm that you have read and understood these Competition Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must tap "Decline" and you will not be able to access competitive match play.

These Competition Terms form part of the Play Solana legal framework and must be read together with the Terms of Use (Device & Software), the Store Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other applicable notices made available by Play Solana at playsolana.com/compliance. If there is any inconsistency between these Competition Terms and those documents in relation to Eggy League competitive match play, these Competition Terms prevail only to the extent of that inconsistency.

1. What Eggy League is

Eggy League is a skill-based competitive game available through the PSG1 console. Competitive match play is available only to eligible PSG1 users who acquired their device through an authorised Play Solana sales channel and who are located in a territory where Play Solana makes this feature available.

The outcome of each competitive match is determined by the gameplay performance of the players participating in that match. The winner is determined by skill, timing, reaction, decision-making, execution, practice, and performance during play. No random number generator, house odds, chance mechanic, hidden probability, lottery mechanism, draw, or similar chance-based system determines the winner of a competitive match or the allocation of match stakes.

Play Solana does not participate as a player, does not compete against users, does not set odds, does not guarantee any prize, does not fund winnings, and does not take an outcome-based position in any match. The match stake is committed by the participating players, and the outcome is determined by the match result.

Competitive match play takes place only within the Play Solana ecosystem and requires use of a PSG1 console. Play Solana may restrict, suspend, or disable access where required for legal, regulatory, technical, security, or operational reasons.

2. Eligibility

To participate, you must own or lawfully control a valid PSG1 console purchased through an authorised Play Solana sales channel, be the lawful account holder or authorised user associated with the relevant device and wallet, be located in an eligible territory, and have reached the age of majority under the laws of your country of residence - in most countries, eighteen (18) years. If a higher minimum age applies under mandatory local law, that higher age applies.

You may not participate if doing so would breach any law, regulation, sanction, restriction, digital asset rule, gaming rule, or other mandatory requirement applicable to you or to Play Solana. You must not use a VPN, proxy, false address, false account information, device manipulation, or any other method to access competitive match play from a restricted territory.

By tapping "I Agree", you represent and warrant that you satisfy all eligibility requirements and that your participation is lawful in your jurisdiction. Play Solana may verify eligibility at any time and may suspend or terminate access if eligibility cannot be confirmed or if continued access may create legal, regulatory, security, fraud, or platform integrity risk. Eligible territories may change from time to time.

3. Match stakes

To enter a competitive match, both players must commit an equal amount of $PLAY tokens as the match stake. The proposed stake, the applicable infrastructure fee, and the net amount payable to the winner are displayed within the match interface before confirmation.

No match stake is committed without your express confirmation. By confirming entry, you authorise the relevant on-chain transaction and acknowledge that your committed stake may be lost if your opponent wins. At the conclusion of a match, the player determined by the game server to have won receives the combined match stake, less the infrastructure fee in Section 4. The losing player's stake is not returned, unless the match is declared void under Section 6.

Match stakes are denominated and settled in $PLAY. Once committed and confirmed on-chain, the transaction is final by nature of the blockchain network; Play Solana cannot reverse, cancel, recall, or amend a confirmed transaction except to the limited extent expressly provided for here. You are solely responsible for ensuring your wallet balance is sufficient and correctly configured before confirming entry.

4. Infrastructure fee

Play Solana retains an infrastructure fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the combined match stake for each match. This fee is charged for the operation, maintenance, security, and availability of the competitive match infrastructure - matchmaking, game servers, console integration, support, blockchain infrastructure, monitoring, and integrity controls.

The fee is not a bet, wager, prize contribution, commission on winnings, or house stake. It is a fixed platform infrastructure charge applied to each match regardless of which player wins. It is calculated automatically when the match concludes and deducted before the net amount is transferred to the winner. Play Solana may adjust the fee from time to time, communicated before it applies; changes do not apply retroactively.

5. The $PLAY token

$PLAY is the utility token used within the Play Solana ecosystem. In Eggy League it functions as the medium through which players commit match stakes and receive outcomes. It is not offered as an investment product, financial instrument, savings product, yield product, or means of generating returns independent of gameplay.

Play Solana does not represent, warrant, or guarantee any current or future value, liquidity, market price, exchange availability, or tradability of $PLAY. Market value may fluctuate independently of Eggy League and of Play Solana's operations, and any change in token value is at your own risk. Participation does not constitute an investment in $PLAY, and nothing stated should be understood as investment, legal, tax, financial, accounting, or regulatory advice.

$PLAY transactions execute on a public blockchain; confirmed transactions are generally final and irreversible. Play Solana does not act as custodian of your tokens. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, seed phrase, device credentials, and account access, and for determining and complying with any tax, reporting, or other legal obligations that apply to you.

6. Match outcomes, technical faults & voids

The outcome of each match is determined by the Play Solana game server at the conclusion of play. The server's determination is final, except where Play Solana determines that a verified technical fault attributable to its own infrastructure materially prevented the match from being completed or materially corrupted the result.

Play Solana will not reverse a result because of subjective disagreement, poor performance, user error, misunderstanding of game mechanics, strategic disadvantage, loss of connection caused by the player's own network, local device issues, wallet issues, or market movement in the value of $PLAY.

If a verified fault attributable to Play Solana's infrastructure materially prevented a match from concluding normally, Play Solana may declare the match void and will use reasonable efforts to return committed stakes, subject to blockchain costs and technical constraints already incurred. To report a suspected fault, submit a report through the in-console support channel or at playsolana.com/compliance within twenty-four (24) hours after the match ends.

7. Fair play & prohibited conduct

Competitive match play is based on genuine skill-based competition between real players. You must not cheat, exploit bugs, use automated scripts, bots, external software assistance, modified devices, unauthorised tools, manipulated network conditions, account sharing, multi-accounting, collusion, deliberate disconnection, match fixing, deliberate loss, coordinated token transfer, or any other method designed to manipulate outcomes.

You must not use competitive match play to transfer value outside genuine gameplay, evade applicable law, conceal the origin or destination of tokens, bypass sanctions or territorial restrictions, or engage in conduct that is abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful. Play Solana may monitor match activity, wallet interactions, device identifiers, gameplay patterns, and technical logs for security, fraud prevention, compliance, and integrity purposes, per the Privacy Policy. Where prohibited conduct is found, Play Solana may void matches, withhold or recover stakes where technically possible, suspend or terminate access, restrict functionality, and report conduct to authorities where appropriate.

8. Availability, changes & discontinuation

Competitive match play may depend on device functionality, software updates, server availability, blockchain conditions, wallet compatibility, and third-party infrastructure. Play Solana does not guarantee it will be available at all times, in all territories, or without interruption, and may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue it for legal, regulatory, technical, security, compliance, commercial, or operational reasons. Where a suspension affects a confirmed or in-progress match, Play Solana will use reasonable efforts to treat outstanding stakes fairly and, where possible, return affected stakes - except where the match is affected by cheating, manipulation, user-side failure, or blockchain issues. Material changes to these Terms will be notified and may require acceptance before further play.

9. Liability

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Play Solana's liability in connection with any individual match is limited to the amount of the match stake committed by you for that specific match.

Play Solana is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, profit, goodwill, expected winnings, loss arising from market movement in $PLAY, or loss arising from your decision to participate. Play Solana is not liable for losses from blockchain network failures, congestion, transaction delays, validator issues, forks, wallet failures, smart contract behaviour, third-party infrastructure, unauthorised wallet access, compromised credentials, or user-side connectivity. Your statutory rights under applicable consumer law are not affected.

10. Privacy & data

Play Solana may process information relating to your device, account, wallet interactions, gameplay activity, match history, technical logs, support requests, and platform behaviour to operate Eggy League, enable competitive match play, calculate outcomes, process on-chain interactions, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce these Terms, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy at playsolana.com/compliance.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Competition Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer, nothing here deprives you of mandatory consumer-law protections in your country of residence. For complaints or disputes, first contact Play Solana through the in-console support channels or at playsolana.com/compliance; where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the dispute resolution provisions in the Terms of Use apply, subject to any mandatory rights you may have.

Acceptance

By tapping "I Agree", you confirm that you have read these Competition Terms in full, that you understand them, that you satisfy the eligibility requirements, and that you agree to be bound by them as a condition of participating in Eggy League competitive match play.
